Carlos Saca
Carlos brings a builder’s intuition and an architect’s vision to every project at Homebody. With nearly a decade of experience in residential design and high-end construction, he’s as comfortable with a pencil as he is with a power drill. Carlos has worked as a project architect at respected Portland firms like Scott Edwards Architecture and Propel Studio, and currently serves as a site superintendent with a local construction firm, giving him a rare ability to see the design process from concept through construction.
His approach is rooted in the belief that beautiful homes must also be durable, thoughtful, and deeply livable. With a passion for craft and a respect for materials, Carlos ensures that every line drawn and detail designed can stand the test of time. He loves solving complex problems and bringing a sense of calm to the organized chaos of construction.
At Homebody Architecture, Carlos is the technical backbone and big-picture thinker—bringing ideas into focus and making sure they’re built right. He’s also a firm believer in the idea that a home should feel like a reflection of the people who live there, not just the trends of the day.
Callie Coles
Callie leads the creative and strategic direction of Homebody Architecture, blending her architectural training with a sharp eye for interior design. With her experience as an architectural designer at multiple firms in Portland and a professional degree in architecture, she brings depth and clarity to every space, balancing beauty, function, and intention from concept to final styling.
At Homebody, she oversees interior design and finishes, leads all branding and marketing efforts, and provides design direction for anything plant-related, from integrated interiorscapes to exterior landscaping. From floor plans to furniture sourcing to social media strategy, she ensures every detail aligns with the firm’s creative vision and operational goals. She also manages much of the behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps the studio running smoothly.
In addition to her work at Homebody, Callie is the Design and Marketing Manager at G&G Interiors, where she creates thoughtful plantscape designs, oversees visual storytelling across platforms, and maintains plant care for high-profile commercial clients. Her dual roles keep her at the intersection of design, nature, and strategy, ensuring every space she touches is grounded in both beauty and purpose.
